This year she's indecent:
I wonder what next year will bring.  Merry Christmas!!

Family Christmas Pictures

My mother was kind enough to take our photos for our Christmas card (coming soon!) and for some updated family photos.

Christmas Portraits 2010

My mother-in-law, MykeAnne was gracious enough to take us to get Madelynn's first portraits done.  Madelynn behaved very well.  She did look put out in some photos, but in others she looked absolutely precious.

After the portraits we went back to the house for some Zubs, and Black Ops.  It was a lot of fun.  What a full weekend of family, and blessings!

Happy Thanksgiving

This is our third holiday season together, and this was the first Thanksgiving we've spent with my side of the family.  We will be able to enjoy the Hursts' company on Saturday.  (A posting will be sure to follow).
At our dinner was my father, my mother, my stepfather (we are quiet the definition of a modern family) my brother's family, and our family.  Later in the evening my father's girlfriend joined us for dessert.

Darren and Elly were gracious enough to host the dinner.  Mom and Elly cooked the meal.  It was very good.  The turkey was quiet large, and needed to cook longer so we had ham for dinner, and Darren, Angela, and Jeremy had turkey for dessert.

Here are some moments from tonight's festivities:

Matthew helping vacuum before dinner.
Dad and Elly boiling eggs, and washing dishes.
 Madelynn loves her aunt Elly.
 Watching the pot boil.
 He's too cute.
 Matthew and Aunt Crystal
Wanting to help get the food out.
 Dinner Time!

 Madelynn is sick, poor thing.
 Extra cuddly.
 Just wanting to snuggle.
My father's girlfriend, Angela, and Dad
 Darren and Elly
 Two besties.

The Holidays Are Upon Us

And that means dinners at every local parent's house. Sunday night we went over to my dad's house for a Thanksgiving dinner.  His girlfriend, Angela, did a great job with the dinner.  My brother's family was there also, and it was a very pleasant experience.
For Thanksgiving we are going to my mom's and for the day after it is off to the Hursts'.  Blogs from those events to follow.  :o)

Some fun pictures from Sunday Night:

Madelynn's First Pickle.  She loved it.
