Soccer Season

 This year Madelynn begged to be enrolled in soccer.  We gave in and signed her up with Lehi Rec. She was on team K08, and coached by Jordan Peterson.  The teams consisted of 8 girls; all of whom are in kindergarten.  They would play four on, four off.  No scores were kept.

Ms. Madelynn practiced her little tail off with her father in the  backyard; however, when it came to game day she wasn't really having it.  We think she became a bit overwhelmed with all the physical contact that took place.  She doesn't like being aggressive, and shies away from being pushed around or touched.

It was an interesting experiment, but one I don't think we'll repeat it anytime soon.  Madelynn wants to be enrolled in gymnastics next.  Classes start in July. I believe this will be better for her as it is more individualized and there isn't any physical contact.

6 Months Have Passed Us By,,,

I have not excuse for the time I have not blogged other than I'm lazy, as any one in my family will attest  The other reason this blog as gone unwritten is because I family it going through a, s significantly rough time; not sometime one generically wants to advertise. I'll start at the beginning from where I left off in the previous blog, and go from there.  I'm still trying to decided if I will break the moments into separate blogs or keep it one giant blog.  I guess we'll find out together.  :)

In reviewing the previous posts it looks like I haven't written about Scarlett, Halloween, or Christmas; therefore, I believe I will write an individual post instead of on long post, so 1) I hope I still have readers, and 2) one will hang out of the writings.

I believe the general order of items I am going to hit are (but I'm a rebel so who knows, I may mis i up):

On a side note, thank you to all of you who check in on our family even though I have been keeping everyone in the loop.
