Seattle Exploration Day Three: Whidbey Island

Okay, so we didn't go to Seattle this time.  Instead I took the MILs to my hometown of Oak Harbor.  In reality we spent most of the day at Deception Pass.  After the bridge we went to downtown Coupeville.  Unfortunately at that point we ran out of time to see Fort Casey as Jill wanted to ride the ferry in the daylight.

The most exciting thing to happen for the MILs and Jeremy was the bald eagle chilling out in the forest by the bridge.

Seattle Exploration Day Two: Pike's Place, Argosy Harbor Cruise, and the Seattle Aquarium

I really need to plug the City Pass.  It was the best investment the MILs made.

Anyway back to our adventures.  On Monday our first stop was the shops of Pike's Place Market.  It is an amazing experience for those who either don't have anxiety or have a bottle of prescribed Xanex ready.  We all had fun. ;o)

At lunch.  I don't remember the name of the restaurant.  It wasn't that great.

Next it was off to the Argosy pier for a trip around Elliott Bay.

There is no explanation for Jill, you just have to love her.

Lazy ass sea lions.  They don't do jack squat!

If our lives depended on Madelynn looking at the camera for a photo we would not make it.

Lastly we went to the Seattle Aquarium.  Which as I've stated before is over priced and has no sharks!

I'm trying out this thing called self esteem.
