Matthew the Builder

Jeremy and I bought a new entertainment center from IKEA.  My mother and step-father came down to help put it together, and Matthew was with them.  When we got back to our home, the men unloaded the boxes.  At first Matthew thought he had a new jungle gym.

Once the guys started to open the boxes, and unload the pieces Matthew was anxious to help.

After a long afternoon we finally had our final product:

Much thanks to my mom, John, and Matthew!

Madelynn is Standing

Madelynn's early intervention therapist, Becca, was so excited to see how much progress Madelynn has made in the last month. She crawls, sits, and pulls herself into a standing position. Sometimes she even cruises the furniture. Our assignment for this month is teaching Madelynn how to get out of the standing position as she currently just plops down, or falls over. Here are some pictures of her progress:

Another Cute Video

Videos of Madelynn

My child has learned to crawl, and now gets into everything. She knows exactly what she's doing
as you will see her checking in with me as she crawls.

End of the Year Madelynn Pictures

I thought I would post some cute pictures of Madelynn taken over the last two weeks of the 2010, and  the first day of 2011.

She loves books, and is really quite gentle with them.

Pant hat!

Major Bed Head

She's taken to putting things on her head.

Last year she looked drunk:

This year she's indecent:
I wonder what next year will bring.  Merry Christmas!!

Family Christmas Pictures

My mother was kind enough to take our photos for our Christmas card (coming soon!) and for some updated family photos.

Christmas Portraits 2010

My mother-in-law, MykeAnne was gracious enough to take us to get Madelynn's first portraits done.  Madelynn behaved very well.  She did look put out in some photos, but in others she looked absolutely precious.

After the portraits we went back to the house for some Zubs, and Black Ops.  It was a lot of fun.  What a full weekend of family, and blessings!
