This is a little late, but better now than never. :o) A couple weekends before we left for Washington Jeremy and Madelynn were invited to spend the weekend with the Broadheads. The gang went 4-wheeling, played in water, and had fun being together. (I don't do camping, and spent the quiet weekend studying).

Trampoline
Saturday was warm, and sunny. We decided to take Madelynn out to the back yard to swing, and explore the trampoline. I have no idea why we did not get photos of her swinging, but we did capture her first experience on a trampoline.

Andrew and Madelynn
Madelynn has found a new playmate in Andrew. Now that the novelty have warn off they can play instead of examine one another. He has helped her to talk more, and she has helped him learn to crawl. They are so cute together, I have to share pictures.
A Trip to Lynnwood
I lost my glasses while eating lunch at the Orem Zupas right before we moved. I called my insurance to find out if we were covered out of state somewhere. Miraculously we were coved at America' Best...except their nearest location was in Lynnwood. So I packed up my nugget and away we went. I was nervous about how she was going to act, because I had never taken her with me to a doctor appointment, but shew as good as gold....until the last 10 minutes of processing the payment and insurance.
Ballgame
My cousin's boyfriend had a softball game last Thursday. They were short one player so she had to play. She didn't do a very good job at heckling the other batters. :o)
Madelynn and I were alone in the bleachers. Madelynn would clap everytime someone else would regardless if it was for Nic and Brandi's team or not.
Me and Madelynn at our first ball game together. Not a great picture, but it's hard to take one with a wiggly 22-month old.

The Hursts Have Moved
Jeremy decided to was time to get serious about moving to Washington after both of us became slightly (ahem) exasperated with our jobs. Jeremy put his resume on Monster, and within days was called for an interview, and was hired by SOS Metals. He received a pay increase, better benefits, and retirement. We were very excited, the only problem was they wanted him there within 10 days of the interview. With the help of my brother's family, my father, and my mother and stepfather we got the apartment packed into some pods, and were on our way.
We decided to take the ferry from Mukilteo to Clinton to cut our some mileage on our cars, and because Jer had never been on a ferry before.
We arrived around three. We had a lot of decompressing to do, and Jeremy had to leave the next morning early for Algona, where his training is taking place.
I was left with Madelynn and my grandparents for the five days Jeremy was gone. Madelynn was missing her cousin Matthew, but had the opportunity to meet and play with her other cousin, Andrew.
Madelynn was also able to re-connect with her cousin, Mikhaila.
She enjoys being at Grandparents Anderson's home. She made herself comfortable in Grandpa's chair.
She eats at the coffee tables, and colors (not shown).
And is an overall happy kid, though she missed her
daddy...
Madelynn will cover her eyes if she is trying to fall asleep, but now she's picked up plugging her ears...Apparently we were too loud.
