Everyone had a camera. While I do not have access to everyone else's photos I am posting the candid that I do have that do not really fit into a category.

If there was a way to describe our family it would
be passive aggressiveness.
I guess Madelynn feels the same way.

With the weather improving-ish and the aid of a new app on the iPhone, we decided it was time to get caching again.
Last weekend ( June 16th) we went to the Snohomish Park Trail. There were only two to be found that day as it started to pour. The second proved to be difficult as I had to billy goat down some rocks, and search through the brush. It reminded me of summers on Hunt road, exploring the creek bed in the back of the house. At one point I said to wwttiJeremy "yuuuyuyhyyhyghhllpreykj qwrtopwwerthat? That's my childhood."
Madelynn was running along the trail, enjoying the opportunity of being outdoors. At some point she discovered slugs. She had never seen a slug before, and commenced stomping on every one she saw.
On Friday Jeremy graciously offered to watch Matthew, as I had other plans for most of the day. Matthew and Madelynn play so well together. These are just some videos we took of the two that day.
Well...not really, but recently Madelynn has been putting things in her mouth, and shaking her head back and forth. It's so funny, and Jeremy calls her his little puppy.
Madelynn is slowly beginning to associate the 'words' with meanings. Currently she says "mama" "dada" "baba" and "papa" for grandpa. She understands when we ask her certain things. She knows what feet are. When asked how old she is she'll raise her index finger. We are encouraged that her language skills are improving, as Becca told us it would be a while because Madelynn is concentrating on her gross motor skills. Turns out Madelynn is a multi-tasker!
This is a video of her saying Papa. She knows that Dave, John, and Rick are grandpa. It's cute to hear her say Papa when she sees them.
