After 154 Days She Is Home

Getting Into Her Outfit

The Outfit

Second Guessing Coming Home

Madelynn is five months old, and has been taken home. Our apartment looks like a medical supply office, but we'll take it.

She seemed to be having a rough time falling to sleep. We vented the tube, which seemed to help, and then we wrapped her like a baby burrito. She finally fell asleep around 1 AM.

It turns out Madelynn likes to make noises when she sleeps. We kept waking up every 30 minutes or so. She gets medications every four hours, and we have to change out her formula about that often during the night when she is on continuous feeds. Waking up every 30 minutes helped stay on time, and not having the alarm go off.

As it is Maddie's oxygen monitor sometimes goes off, and it is so loud. I am sure the neighbors are upset over the beeping.

All in all it was not a horrendous night. We are so thankful to finally have her home, we will do whatever it takes to help her grow, and stay home.
